Admission Policy
The New University of Côte d’Ivoire (UNCI) is committed to providing inclusive, high-quality higher education opportunities to all qualified applicants regardless of background, nationality, or financial status. Our admission policy is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and academic excellence.
General Admission Requirements
Undergraduate Programs
Applicants must:
Have successfully completed secondary/high school or equivalent.
Possess a valid Baccalauréat (for Ivorian students) or international equivalent.
Submit all required academic transcripts and certificates.
Pass the university’s entrance examination or interview (if required).
Postgraduate Programs
Applicants must:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Provide transcripts and proof of graduation.
Submit a personal statement and two academic references.
Pass any required entrance exam or interview.
International Students
Provide certified translations of academic documents (if not in French or English).
Submit proof of French or English language proficiency (depending on program).
Provide a copy of a valid passport.
Admission Periods
Admissions occur twice per academic year:
Main Intake: June – September
Mid-Year Intake: February – March (limited programs)
How to Apply for Admission
Step 1: Choose Your Program
Visit our website or campus to explore available degree programs.
Step 2: Complete the Application Form
Online: Fill out the application form at Download the Application Form
Offline: Pick up an application form from the Admissions Office.
Step 3: Submit Required Documents
Academic transcripts and certificates
Copy of ID or passport
Passport-sized photographs
Language proficiency proof (if applicable)
Application fee payment receipt
Step 4: Attend Entrance Examination or Interview
Applicants may be invited for a test or interview depending on the program.
Step 5: Await Admission Decision
Results will be communicated via email or posted on the university portal within 2–4 weeks.
Step 6: Confirm Your Admission
Pay the acceptance fee.
Collect your admission letter and complete registration.
